What is Education Department Funding?

School is a crucial time for every child.

Please note this funding support is only available in South Australia.

School is a time to learn new information, participate in a wide range of activities, and explore your own personal potential for the future. Education Department Funding is delivered in partnership with the South Australian Government to support eligible children through their experience of early years and school education. Please note this funding option is only available for families living or seeking services in South Australia.

The funding is designed to:

  • Provide supports to ensure children with low vision or blindness can participate in early childhood education and prepare for their various stages of school life.
  • Ensure eligible children can participate in high quality, accessible educational experiences and learning opportunities.
